Our Journey at Tequila Jalisco Mexico....

In February of 2014, we began a journey to develop a private selection tequila for Felipe’s Mexican Restaurant that can only be found at the 21st and Woodlawn location in Wichita, KS. Miguel traveled to Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico to perfect the recipe. He worked with the patrons of La Rojeña to develop a diamond tequila.

 

The Private Selection Tequila of Felipe’s Mexican restaurant is a special blend of añejo, extra añejo, and reposado tequilas married in a European oak barrel and double filtered to produce our crystal clear Diamond Tequila.  Our patrons enjoyed this tequila, and it became an instant success for our restaurant.

Since we had great success with our Diamond Tequila, we initiated the process of developing an añejo tequila. In 2018, our single barrel selection gained a sibling, Felipe’s Maestro Dobel Tequila añejo.  At Felipe’s Mexican Restaurant, we call it Pearland. We look forward to being able to serve you one of our own tequilas which can only be found at Felipe’s Mexican Restaurant at 21st and woodlawn. 

 

Our Customers in joy our tequila in either the Diamond Margarita, Pearl Margarita, or neet. Our Diamond and Pearl Margaritas are made with our house made margarita mix and served with a shot of either our Diamond or Pearl tequila on the side.
